Abstract: Hepatitis B, Gender, Age, AntiHBs. There are several obstacles that occur in vaccinated both
internally and externally as the neutralization of the host, or the escape mutant virus escape mutations,
vaccine quality and environmental factors. One of the parameters measuring the success of the effectiveness
of vaccination against hepatitis B through in vitro immunological examination using diagnostic
tools based on the measurement of anti-HBs antibody titers. Therefore, it is necessary to study the
effectiveness of hepatitis B vaccination against individuals who have been vaccinated. The results of the
study are expected to be known whether hepatitis B vaccination has been done to provide benefits in an
effort to support the creation of Healthy Indonesia according to government programs in order to create
a healthy and prosperous man. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of
gender and age factors on the formation of the Anti-HBs titers in vaccinated against hepatitis B. The
study design used by the researchers in this study is the correlation. Where the study took 40 students
majoring in nursing in Poltekes Surakarta. Implementation of research for 3 months. The results of the
research results obtained statistical test p-value = 0.454, (ï¡> 0.05) it can be concluded there was no
significant difference between the titer levels with gender. Statistical test results obtained value of
p=0.981, (ï¡> 0.05) it can be concluded there was no significant difference between the titer levels with
age less than 19 years with more than 19 years of age.
