Abstract: Integrated Neuromuscular Inhibition Techniques (INIT) effleurage massage, myofascial pain syndrome and upper trapezius muscle. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in treatment Integrated Neuromuscular Inhibition Techniques (INIT) and effleurage massage for myofascial pain syndrome in the case of the upper trapezius muscle. This study was conducted with two groups design pre and post test on 17 patients using the Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney U test. The results showed that in both groups at 95% significance level of p = 0.000 is obtained, which means that there are differences in pain score before and after treatment. Whereas the Mann Whitney U test with a significance level of 95% value or the value of pain after treatment it was found the difference in pain reduction in the value of p = 0.001, which means that there is a difference in effect between the two groups.
