Abstract: exclusive breastfeeding, primiparous. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding, especially in primiparous mothers. The benefit of this study is as a reference or consideration for repair service, do more research and additional studies in the learning process. The design of this study is the "cross-sectional" that every subject in the observations while at the same time, meaning that the subject is observed only once and is measured according to the circumstances at the time of observation (Notoatmodjo, 2002). In this study, researchers wanted to get an overview of the factors affecting exclusive breastfeeding in primiparous mothers. The results showed that age, education, work, knowledge, behavior and environment affect exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstrak: ASI eksklusif, primipara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif khususnya pada ibu primipara. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai bahan acuan atau pertimbangan untuk memperbaiki pelayanan, melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dan tambahan kajian dalam proses pembelajaran. Rancangan pada penelitian ini adalah “cross sectional†yaitu setiap subyek di observasi sekaligus pada saat yang sama, artinya subyek hanya diobservasi satu kali saja dan diukur menurut keadaannya pada saat diobservasi (Notoatmodjo, 2002). Pada penelitian ini peneliti ingin mendapatkan gambaran tentang faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu primipara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor umur, pendidikan, pekerjaan, pengetahuan, perilaku dan lingkungan mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif.
