PENGGUNAAN POSTERIOR LEAF SPRING ANKLE FOOT ORTHOSIS (PLS-AFO) TERHADAP PERBAIKAN POLA JALAN DAN KECEPATAN JALAN PENDERITA DROP FOOT AKIBAT STROKE DI KLINIK P&O ORTHOTECH BOYOLALI

Abstract: Posterior Leaf Spring Ankle Foot Orthosis, Pattern Roads and Walking Speed, Stroke. On Foot Drop treatment, prosthetic orthotic can provide services in the form of orthoses that PLS-AFO, which aims to reduce the degree of Drop Foot at ankle joint caused by a decrease in the dorsal flexor muscle tone. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The sample size consisted of 7 patients with Drop Foot Clinic of a stroke at the P & O Orthotech Boyolali. The instrument used is a question for the interview, along with a tape recorder, and digital cameras. PLS-AFO effect on the improvement of roads and road speed patterns, but the greatest influence on improving the pattern of the way but a low impact on the improvement of road speed. PLS-AFO is sutu aids or tools to prevent drop foot correction prolonged or prevent further disability, but it can not heal and return to normal in patients drop foot.Lama tool use PLS-AFO did not affect the pattern of roads and speed suffer berjalan.Lama drop foot who wear a PLS-AFO did not affect the pattern of roads and walking speed. Should patients with foot drop remained on the PLS-AFO as a means of correction and prevention of further disability. Patients are expected to leave no action therapy that trains the patient and restore functional independence of patients.

Abstrak: Posterior Leaf Spring Ankle Foot Orthosis, Pola Jalan Dan Kecepatan Jalan, Stroke. Pada penanganan Drop Foot, Ortotik Prostetik dapat memberikan pelayanan dalam bentuk ortosis yaitu PLS-AFO, yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi derajad Drop Foot pada ankle joint yang disebabkan oleh penurunan tonus otot dorsal fleksor. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Diskriptif Kualitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel terdiri dari 7 penderita Drop Foot akibat stroke di Klinik P&O Orthotech Boyolali. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pertanyaan untuk wawancara, tape recorder beserta pita kaset, dan kamera digital. PLS-AFO berpengaruh terhadap perbaikan pola jalan dan kecepatan jalan, tetapi pengaruh terbesar pada memperbaiki pola jalan tetapi berpengaruh rendah pada perbaikan kecepatan jalan. PLS-AFO adalah sutu alat bantu atau alat koreksi untuk mencegah drop foot berkepanjangan atau mencegah kecacatan lebih lanjut, tetapi tidak bisa menyembuhkan dan mengembalikan normal pada penderita drop foot.Lama pemakaian alat PLS-AFO tidak berpengaruh terhadap pola jalan dan kecepatan berjalan. Lama menderita drop foot yang memakai alat PLS-AFO tidak berpengaruh terhadap pola jalan dan kecepatan berjalan. Sebaiknya pasien drop foot tetap memakai alat PLS-AFO sebagai pengkoreksian dan pencegahan kecacatan lebih lanjut. Pasien diharap tidak meninggalkan tindakan terapi yang melatih kemandirian pasien dan mengembalikan fungsional pasien.
